For the past 12 years, I’ve been obsessed with collaborating with every type of artist I could, in all genres, from all across the globe. My passion is to facilitate artists creativity through production, mindset work, and coaching. I started my life in the hills of Morgantown, WV but in 2016, I moved to NYC to attend NYU Steinhardt's Music Technology program. I ended up taking positions at 3 of the top studios in Manhattan (Jungle City Studios, Germano Studios, and Corner Store Studios) but Any time not studying or working was used to produce for any artists i could get to trust me to work with them, exposing myself to every way of creating music/sound I could.

I am currently in Los Angeles, CA still working with artists in any style that inspires me.

What I’ve learned… so far…

There are few constants other than “change” in my life and career, but here are some things I’ve learned:

  • There is no one way to do anything

  • Authentic music is more sustainable than trend-following

  • If you feel something, someone else out there will as well

  • The right producer is always better than the best producer

  • Come into life assuming you can learn from everyone around you

  • We never stop learning & bettering ourselves

A Deeper look

It all started when…

I made a rap for religion class in 8th grade, and for the first time, in a new school, people wanted to talk to me. As a strange kid struggling to fit in, music was my way to stand out, so I went all in on producing. I would come home every day after school and chop wood or do any kind of work I could to earn money, simply to get the tools needed to start pursuing production. After a few months, I had enough money to buy cheap Walmart speakers, FL Studio, a MIDI converter, and keyboard; I hit the ground running.

As a teenager in Morgantown, West Virginia…

I produced mostly hip-hop for local rappers and recorded them in the small closet I had turned into a “studio”. As I explored more styles such as dubstep, pop, and other electronic genres, my world of music opened up and I made two small mixtapes, one being an EP my senior year called Hybrid Effect (monikered as C R-Me) in order to audition for colleges. After intense deliberation, I chose to go to NYU for Music Technology where I met many of my best friends and fellow musicians who I started learning from, and collaborating with.

Given the opportunity of being in NYC,

I met many artists through social media as well as friends that I ended up working with such as Trafton, The Parkers, Riley Krisch, and Somaya. Two years into my bachelors, I changed my artist name to 'Noams', and dropped my debut album "sorry i'm late." on October 12th.

Since then…

After college, I focused one year on working at a studio and balancing client work on the side but one night while home, watching fireflies and soaking in the nature, I realized the city just wasn't the place for me and I was still chasing the dream of a 13 year old me. I decided to take a year in my hometown to focus on producing music for my own artist project but mostly for other artists. In Morgantown, the music scene is beautiful and growing, but didn't provide much of an ability to grow so I set off on figuring out where I would explore next.

After a while, I packed up the ol' RAV4 and headed out to L.A. with my partner, Lyda (an amazing artist with whom I collaborate with often) with nothing but a client and a few music contacts. Since then, I’ve met so many amazing people, collaborators, clients, students, friends, and more and I don’t see myself leaving LA any time soon.
